North Western Oklahoma State University (NWOSU) had its fifth ToPPS institute July 6-10. There were 25 participants from grades 3-12 (including AP physics) and the summer institute lasted 40 hours.
Participants enjoyed a week of learning about Newton’s Laws and took home lots of equipment and supplies so they can implement the activities in their own classroom. Part of the supplies included tumble buggy and mini-cooper pullback car fleets! Plus Tipers text and timers… And, a complete Vernier cart dynamics kit with MotionGo sensor
