PTRAs led a “bootcamp” designed for district leaders and facilitators of Baltimore ISD June 19-23. The course was designed for Science Teacher Leaders and Science PD facilitators (K-8) to understand the complex interactions that occur between matter and energy as well as how to best teach those concepts to adult learners. In addition to content, there was a strong focus on effective pedagogical methods to be used in the classroom including inquiry, CER, and ADI. Participants in the workshop received graduate credit.
