Central PA Fall Section Meeting
Central Pennsylvania Section, American Association of Physics Teachers, Fall 2018 PTRA Workshop
Energy: Conservation in a “NEW” light.
Energy is a topic that is covered in most physics and physical science classes. Some ideas have been around for a long time and are pretty well “understood”. Newer ideas and forms are often on the cutting edge of what we think we know and challenge us to explore and be introduced to topics that are on the edge of our comfort zone. Using the Perimeter Institute materials as a frame work we will explore and examine a wide range of ideas pertaining to energy and its effect on our lives. Although the ideas are shared for physics the concepts and activities are appropriate for all levels not just high school.
