Central Pennsylvania Section/American Association of Physics Teachers
Members of the Central Pennsylvania Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers have partnered with PTRA and offered workshops to their members for many years.
April 8, 2016 NASA resources and Rocket Science 101
NASA has produced an abundance of information and educational materials for teaching about space. There is also a vast amount of information about airplanes and flight that often goes overlooked. The workshop showed some of the free resources that are available for teachers. Many can be used to supplement your curriculum. An engineering activity for modifying a soda bottle into a water rocket was completed.

Host: Kelly Krieble
Workshop leaders: Pat Callahan, Dave McCachren
December 2, 2016 Engineering Design in the Physics Classroom
