The University of Wisconsin-River Falls hosted a STEM workshop focusing on the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) for teachers in grades 5-12 June 16-27, 2014. The content focus was forces and interactions with emphasis on Physics content knowledge, active learning techniques, and engineering design applications specific to the NGSS. The course was jointly taught by university faculty and Physics Teaching Resource Agents (PTRAs). The workshop could be taken as continuing education or to earn 3 graduate credits
