Electromagnetic Forces and Interactions: Inquiry Methods for Physics and Physical Science with NGSS.
The University of Wisconsin River Falls will host a summer physics workshop June 19-30, 2017. There will be graduate credit offered (details to be posted later).
Location: University of Wisconsin – River Falls, River Falls, WI. (Less than 45 minutes from the Minneapolis International Airport.
Dates: June 19 – 30, 20167 M-F 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Continuing Education: $950.00 Total

Description: This two week workshop focuses on using inquiry methods to teach about electromagnetic forces and interactions in Physics and Physical Science courses. Emphasis will be on Physics content knowledge, active learning techniques, and engineering design application specific to the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). The workshop may be taken as continuing education or to earn 3 graduate credits
